Online Warranty Policy
REAL DEALZ – WARRANTY POLICY (6-MONTH LIMITED WARRANTY)
1. Introduction
Real Dealz specialises in unboxed and pre-owned
merchandise. All products are tested before sale to ensure they are in
working condition and meet basic functionality standards.
We operate in compliance with the Consumer Protection Act
68 of 2008 (CPA) of South Africa.
By purchasing from Real Dealz, the customer acknowledges
that items are pre-owned and may not perform like brand-new products.
2. Warranty Coverage
Most products carry a 6-month limited warranty from the date of purchase.
Warranty applies only to manufacturing or pre-existing faults.
Products are intended for household, DIY, or recreational use only.
All usage instructions must be followed.
3. What the Warranty Does NOT Cover
The warranty becomes void in cases of: Misuse, negligence, or abuse
Physical or liquid damage
Electrical surges or load shedding damage
Unauthorized repairs or modifications
Normal wear and tear
Cosmetic damage disclosed at the time of purchase
Consumables (batteries, bulbs, accessories, etc.)
Failure to maintain or care for the product properly
4. Warranty Claims Process
All claims are subject to inspection by Real Dealz or a qualified service
centre.
Assessment period: 7–14 working days.
If approved, Real Dealz may (at its discretion):
Repair the item (up to 21 working days)
Replace the item
Offer store credit or refund
Proof of purchase is required for all claims.
5. Important Conditions
Items must be returned with all accessories (if applicable).
Packaging may be required for processing claims.
Real Dealz reserves the right to reject claims that show misuse or damage
outside warranty coverage.
All decisions are made at the discretion of Real Dealz after assessment.
6. General Disclaimer
Pre-owned products may have signs of previous use and may
not match the lifespan or condition of new items. Customers confirm acceptance
of product condition at time of purchase.
